Date Balls Recipe

Try this recipe out for a quick, easy and healthy snack to keep you going. Perfect to take to work or school or to have on the go.


1/2 cup pitted dates

1/2 cup cranberries

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup walnuts

1/4 cup sunflower seeds

1/4 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup desiccated coconut and extra to coat

1/2 tsp cinnamon

pinch nutmeg and salt

1 Tbsp honey

1/4 cup water


1. Place dry ingredients into a food processor.

2. Once blended, add the water and honey and pulse for 30 seconds.

3. Roll into bite-size balls (this recipe should make about 15-20)

4. Roll in desiccated coconut and place in the fridge for at least 20 minutes before serving.


  • Keeps in the fridge for up to 1 week.

  • Enjoy 2-3 balls as a healthy snack

  • You can also try coat in cacao powder if you prefer instead of desiccated coconut.
